Experience Requirements
> Minimum 10 years experience in manufacturing
> Minimum 5 years experience in automotive manufacturing
> Process design, improvement and or verification experience
> Strong understanding of steel stampings and welding processes
> Strong understanding for elimination of waste
> Computer Skills including but not limited to: Power Point and Microsoft Word, Excel and Projects
> Proficiency in design and engineering software
> Understanding of APQP requirements

Skill Requirements
> 5 years press/ stamping experience
> Solid Project Management skills
> Working knowledge of P.M. systems
> Will need flexibility to work a schedule that allows completion of the job on a daily basis.
> Will possess the organizational skills necessary to maintain company records in compliance with the Manufacturing Department and TS-16949.
> Must possess the ability to work with all levels of the organization as well as customers and suppliers
> Must be able to identify and countermeasure key areas for improvement opportunities in the manufacturing process for both new and existing business
Principle Duties and/or Responsibilities
> Ensure all manufacturing processes are operating within the OSHA standards to ensure the safety and protection of all associates.
> Regular review of processes and implementation of improvement activities.
> Assist in new or takeover business to help create a robust manufacturing process.
> Assist Materials Team with process verification, packaging and material specifications
> Assist in facility upgrades to ensure manufacturing needs are met while upgrades are planned.
> Participate in Problem solving and 8-D activities to ensure quality product to our customers.
> Regular review of downtime and plan for improvement.
> Ensure the manufacturing processes are constantly evolving with technological advancements.
> Assist the Maintenance Department to upgrade capital equipment as necessary
> Participate in and support Associate Involvement teams.
> Assist in training of plant personnel as required for process improvement.
> Assist in training of plant personnel.
> Upgrade self with training as required for job responsibilities.
> Must be able to travel to other plants in U.S., Canada and Mexico.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
